Advantages: Reliable, good bargain, ideal for new starters
Disadvantages: Noisy, vibrates a lot.
I was surprised how good this product was. Money was tight, and we didn't have much of a choice, so we bought what we could afford. I think we paid about £300 for this 1300rpm machine.
Now we've had this for over 3 years now, and although it doesn't have a lot of features that other expensive machines have, it still is quite good. You get all the basic features you'd expect - temperature, drip dry, delicate, half load, pre-wash -- I wouldn't even want any more features.
The clothes come out reasonably dry, it has never failed (bite my tongue!) yet. We go through 3 washes a day, and it's worked fine all the time.
I'm not a gizmo and computerised machines make me uncomfortable, so I guess I appreciate the simplicity of it all. You just twist, fill and click, without fiddling with digital buttons. One less thing to go wrong, if you dont have a digital display.
The only negative factor is the noise. I have to keep my kitchen door shut, otherwise I don't hear the TV in my living room. It also vibrates a lot. The soap and fabric softener drawer kept getting clogged, but we bought a washing machine service cleaner and it seems to be ok now.
I think this is an ideal product of new home starters or students who want the job done without burning a hole in their finances.

- 26/09/09 Good start, but a bit more information would be useful, e.g. what temperaurs are available, how long a wash takes, and you on't actually say if the roduct is a washing machine dryer / washer-dryer, I was a little confused at first - but kep writing :) |
