My old washing machine was from the 70's and was on its way out so I was in need of a new low cost washing machine. I bought it for £299 from a local retailer a couple of years ago. I didn't want anything too complicated or technological because it would cost more to fix if it broke so I bought this because it was simple and inexpensive.
It is easy to use and install. The instructions were not even needed as it was quite obvious what you had to to. Simply put the load in the washing machine, turn the dial to whichever setting you need (my preferred wash is 'quick 30'), put powder in the slot or active-gel in the little container and put straight in. Press start and you're ready to go!
The washing machine has a 5kg load capacity, which is not very much but there are only 2 people in our household so we don't really need a huge washing machine. For a larger household you would probably have to use the machine more, so this machine would not be ideal for a household of more than 2.
It had a wide range of settings and they are easy to choose from, and it is not over complicated.
However, we have encountered one problem; the slot which takes the powder is no longer working and powders and liquids just stay there and become stale. It is not a major problem because we can use Bold 2 in 1 liquid tabs which you put straight into the drum.
Overall quite a good washing machine, but if you have a larger family I would buy one with a larger drum. It washes clothes quickly and easily. Garments come out clean as expected and can wash a number of different things.
