We bought this washing machine about 4 years ago after our other one broke down in style by practically flooding our entire kitchen!
We got it from Tesco for £200. It was one of the cheaper washing machines, but not the cheapest. It is quite average looking but it has everything you need in a washing machine. We chose this as it was a brand name but still quite cheap.
You can fit a good amount of things in it - you can wash a double quilt in it, but you can't fit anything else in with it. This isn't the biggest washing machine and I kind of wished that I'd have chosen a larger one as I have to do 4 loads a week, and there are only three of us.
There are loads of different settings. You can choose whites, colours, delicates, wools, cold wash, quick wash, etc. There are also different temperature settings so you can choose a 30 degree wash if your clothes aren't that dirty, or if you just want to save the environment!
The instruction manual tells you how long each type of wash will take, its usually just over an hour, or 30 mins if you choose quick and cool. It's really easy to use and even my 5 year old nephew can do it.
It seemed to work fine but after a couple of weeks I had to ring the repair man as the water was only trickling into the machine when I turned it on and not rushing in like it did before.
On the repair sheet it says that it needed an electric valve which would cost £16.37 (minus labour charges!) if this happened after the warranty ran out. As it happened to us after a few weeks we didn't have to pay.
It wasn't a good sign but we've had it four years now and that was the only fault. It's worked perfectly ever since. Well, sometimes I overload the machine and the clothes come out with traces of powder on them, but I think that's my fault not the washing machine's!
It is a good washing machine and has served us well over the years and it looks like it will be fine for many years to come aswell.
I've had this product for 6 months. It washes well and has a good range of cycles. The only problem i have with it is, when it's spinning it literally jumps across the room. It's also very loud when it spins and makes the enite room shake. I have had it serviced and there is nothing wrong with it so i have to put up with it. I have to say in comparison with alternative manufacturers such as hoover or zanussi which i have had before, it is up there in terms of quality of wash and value for money. Quick wash cycles take 47 mins on 30 degrees which is good and it also has a dryer, not so usefull as this takes hours to dry. Other than the problems with the spin cycle, i have had no other problems and it does take a pounding from me as i have children and probably do 2 or 3 washes a day currently. Overall is it is worth the money.
