The machine itself is front loading, which fits in my kitchen, as there is a work surface over the top. There is a drawer to put the powder, and a separate compartment for the fabric conditioner. In terms of noise, I do find the machine quite loud when it spins at the end of the cycle. This is probably the main negative about the machine.

I purchased this just over a year ago from Currys paying about £350. My main requiremet for a washing machine was to have a quick cycle, as I prefer to wash things regularly, and often like to put a quick cycle on, so I can leave things to dry while I am at work. This machine has a 15 minute cycle, which is great for a quick freshen up of clothes. Other cycles include an eco cycle (which is one hour).
