They were terrible - it them about 6 weeks to clear the fault. Unfortunately, after a couple of years it went downhill again. It's still not right. Fitters have suggested that it may be in an unsuitable location for some unexplained reason (freak weather conditions? adverse ley lines?). Gas dryers are more expensive to buy than electric ones, but running costs are significantly lower. I bought a Crosslee White Knight high speed reverse gas dryer in 1994, anticipating heavy usage (our baby son was on the way!). For nearly a year it performed excellently, but then began to deteriorate.
