Advantages: Delay start, pause feature
Disadvantages: Too many settings on one dial
Zanussi is quite a popular make, which seams to have became now, more popular.
The machine its self has a nice look to it, with the dial in the middle and all of the setting on that, it also has extra options to change the spin or have a half load.
The delay start is also great on this machine, as you can let your machine do its wash during the night, or have it freshly done for when you get home.
It has a 6kg drum, which is good
A 1200 spin, which I find sufficient
Lots of extra setting, such as: Hand wash, dedicates.
The machine is nice and quite when running as well, so if you use it at night it's great.
Looking into the book for it; it is A rated for energy, so I have the piece of mind that it isn't costing me too much to run.
The machines delay start only works at 3, 6 or 9 hours tho.
The dial has loads of setting as well, so its quite easy to select the wrong one, but it can be paused and restarted.
I paid £269.99 for the machine. Zanussi give you a years guarantee with this as well.

- 01/06/09 This machine looks and sounds very similar to the John Lewis one I had. However a bit more info would be good here such as actually knowing if all the spin speeds work on this appliance. I found for example that the quick wash has a limiting 700 spin speed as opposed to the top spin speed available and often found the whole idea of economy washing ironic since I'd often need an extra spin afterwards to ensure the clothing was completely dry.
It could also help buyers to know if this machine is also:
Quiet in use generally - even on the top spin speed?
Use of the controls - easy to do?
Easy to maintain - removal of soap drawer for easy cleaning plus any other filter (I found the JL version to be difficult).
