... but it does tend to make a rather alarming grinding noise before the spin starts. I was a bit worried, until I consulted the troubleshooter and read that many customers are worried by this noise, but it is a normal part of the programme.
One of the things I like about it is the large degergent dispenser. A small detail, but it means that I do not slop washing liquid and conditioner all over the sides when I am in a hurry. I bought this washing machine primarily on price - it was the best buy for around £250. I had set out to buy a machine that was simple to operate, and this machine certainly is clear for all the family. The temperature dial is clearly divided into sections for cotton, synthetics, delicates or wool, with temperatures within these sections. For example, if you wanted a 40% wash, this is available in each of the wool, synthetic, cotton or delicates sections - you just choose.
