Zanussi ZWF16581 ... have only had this washing machine for about 6 weeks and I honestly cannot find any fault with it. Prior to purchasing this machine I had a hotpoint for 3 years and had several problems with it especially initially. I hope this zanussi lasts for 4-5 years as that is what I would expect from a washing machine. I use it 2-3 times a day and find it simple to use with a variety of different programmes; one of the best features for me is that it tells you exactly how long each programme lasts. You can also change the temperature and spin speed on most of the programmes. There is also an "easy iron" option which does work and the "soil level" button w... Zanussi ZWF14070 ... ve had this washing machine for a year and a half. At first I was especially pleased because it has an A energy rating, which is obviously a good thing for the environment and for running costs. Installing it was really easy. Not hard at all, and the instruction manual tells you exactly what to do. It takes a maximum load weight of 6kg for cotton, down to 2 for wool and handwash - yes, it has a handwash setting, very useful if you re too lazy to wash your clothes in the sink. I find this to be just right for the two of us. I dry our clothes on an airer in the kitchen and a full load (and I mean crammed) fills the airer perfectly. It also has a maximum spin speed of 1... Zanussi ZWF1621 ... Straightforward slection buttons on the front give you half load, pre wash or delayed start options, and the spin speed is chosen from a second dial. Although this sounds complicated, it is incredibly easy to decide which programme to choose! My other two buying criteria were a fast spin speed and a large load capacity - the 7kg load and 1600 spin speed fulfilled both of these. Like most Zanussi s, the machine has a nice quiet spin - but it does tend to make a rather alarming grinding noise before the spin starts.
