... bought our Zanussi FJS1225W in 2001 from Alders . We purchased a 5 year extended warranty from Alders which thankfully, as that company no longer exsist ,we did not need . The first problem we have had with this machine has been in 2006 when the warranty had expired . We called out a local firm who only charged us £25 to sort it out . We live in a very hard water area and that fact , along with my choice of powder, had resulted in a blockage . The machine outlets and outside of the drum were caked in lime and powder residue . Considering the amount of wear the machine has had I didn t think that was too bad . I use it just about everyday and wash all sorts in it....

... family has one of these washing mashines and i can say that we are completely satisfied with the quality and functionality of this mashine. It has a great loading capasity, simple in use and small gabarites. It is very fast and effective in the work. Does not produse noise. And after all, the prise is very low that does not influense you budget. Well, in the end i can just advice you to bue and enjoy this product!...

... 5 years my bearing has also gone and, after reading the review, I don t think I will be able to have it fixed. Also annoying, the lower temperature washes and quick washes are only for half loads and all programmes tangle trouser legs and sleeves so that they come out knotted round everything else. I am very disappointed as my previous zanussi gave me at least 12 years of good service. To be able to write some good points I will say that it was very quiet( until the bearing went) and never moved a fraction when spinning, also there have not been any mechanical faults or break downs until now and, I must admit, it is on most days....
