Seiko Watches ... SEIKO KINETIC WATCHES - I made the mistake of believing the Seiko marketing, that by buying a Kinetic watch, I d never have to buy a battery again - which is true you won t (as they have a capacitor/rechargable battery instead). However, what they don t tell you, is that whilst a normal quartz watch battery will last approx 5 years and cost circa £10 to replace including the seal, the Kinetic units need a service every 2-3 years or they will fail...and the cost of this service? £85 yes you read right, EIGHTY FIVE POUNDS STERLING. Emporio Armani AR0635 ... beautiful Armani AR0635. I got this as a birthday present from my girlfriend and it is a beautiful time piece. I have the one with the brown leather strap. The watch oozes class, sophistication. The three small dials consist of a mini stop watch which can be start by pressing the lower button and stop by the upper button. The left will show the amount of mintues gone by on the stopwatch and the middle one will indicate the seconds. The final dial is a 24hr time zone. May be unessasry but it looks amazing. Bandai Ben 10 Deluxe Omnitrix ... son got this as a present for his 5th birthday last month. He adores Ben 10 so had been hoping for one for the last few months. He did have one of the cheaper versions but it broke within a week so I thought it may be best to spend a little extra this time. I didn t actually end up spending any extra as it was half price in Tesco for about £7.50. I have noticed that these watches are on offer quite a lot at the moment, so do shop around if you are planning on purchasing one.
