DKNY NY4623
by MEL0611
I have a vast number of watches in my collection; I see them as an accessory as opposed to something that tells me what time it is! I have gotten worse as my other half is also a big fan, his expensive taste is a bit much for me, and I prefer slightly cheaper models but to have a few more in my collection. The watch that I am going to be ... reviewing today is my DKNY NY4623 model. I have a couple of other DKNY watches in my collection and have always been pleased with the quality and look of them ,so much more I have added this attest one to my collection. Here are my thoughts on the model.
The DKNY watch range really can vary in price; I paid around the £59.00 price tag for this one which in my opinion is an excellent price. I have paid as low as £49.00 for a DKNY watch and up to the £140.00 price tag for one so there is quite a large gap in them. This is a watch that I spotted in the local jewellers in my home town. It is a lovely independent store and very reasonable with their prices. I liked this for the design and knew that I was getting a bargain and so made the purchase.
The watch, like my other DKNY purchase arrived in a white plastic presentation box with the DKNY logo on the front in silver writing. Upon opening the presentation box you will see that the watch is a lovely classy looking design, simple but yet really effective. There is a small instruction and information booklet that comes with the watch, as well as there being a 2 year manufacturers guarantee. The watch caught my attention for the simplicity really, I liked that it was delicate in features but chunky at the same time.
The watch has a long rectangular face; the watch is made from stainless steel. The face of the watch has a white background and there are no numbers on the watch, just 4 silver dashes that represent the numbers 12, 3, 6 and 9. There is an hour and a minute hand on the watch but nothing else. Then at the bottom of the face, the white background being etched around a silver border is the DKNY logo in silver writing.
The strap to the watch is really pretty; it is quite a chunky looking strap and is a watch strap as opposed to some of my other watches as they look like more like bracelets. There is a clasp that does the watch up, this is very easy to open and close and the watch always feel secure when I am wearing it. The watch doesn't feel to heavy on my wrist and I like that it sparkles in the sunlight.
I would have no trouble in recommending this watch, classic looking so it goes with most outfits and it is very reliable, and it keeps the time well and is a rather good value for money watch in my opinion.
5 out of 5 from me on this one

DKNY NY3605
by shoe_gal_84
Up until recently, I had worn the same watch for years and years. When my birthday came in October, I decided that it was time to treat myself and asked for money so I could get myself a nice, new watch. Family did well and I ended up with a budget of around £100 to purchase a new watch. I wasn't really sure what I was looking for, but ... knew that it had to be silver and quite delicate.
I spent a while searching for the right one, both online and in stores and ended up falling in love with most of the DKNY range - they are all very attractive watches and really reasonable. I ended up purchasing the DKNY NY3605 from H Samuel, which cost me £69. I was thrilled as I had expected a designer watch to be a lot more expensive than this.
So, the watch itself is stainless steel and the strap and outer of the face is a lovely bright, shiny silver colour. The watch face is rectangular and is a slightly lighter silver colour which has a brushed effect. DKNY is printed in silver letters on the face of the watch, but it's pretty small and doesn't detract from how pretty it is. The numbers shown on the face are 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10, which is pretty unusual. However, it's a godsend for me as I always struggled to see whether it was 1 or 2 'o' clock/ 4 or 5 'o' clock etc on my previous watch, but I don't have that problem with this one. The missing numbers are marked with a dash and it's SO easy to tell the time quickly and easily with this watch.
The strap is made up on links, some of which can be removed to change the sizing. This is really easy to do yourself and has made the watch a perfect fit for me. On the underside of the strap, one of the links has DKNY printed on it, which is a nice touch (this isn't one of the links that you can remove).
The watch is really nice to wear, I find it quite light and comfortable and I just love having it on my wrist. It came in a lovely box and was well packaged, it also came with a 2 year warranty which is good. I have had the watch for 4 months now and have not had any problems with it atall, I wear it everyday and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
As I mentioned, I paid £69 for this watch at H Samuel; it is currently for sale on Amazon at £55 which is a real bargain.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this watch as it is really attractive, good quality and well priced. I honestly never thought that I could enjoy wearing a watch so much and can't stop looking at it! I have been very, very pleasantly surprised and wouldn't hesitate to look at DKNY again when I need to purchase a watch or similar. I give this watch 5 out of 5 as I couldn't ask for anything more from it.

DKNY NY4500
by MEL0611
I love watches. I do not have a massive jewellery collection but I do have a massive watch collection. I see a watch as a fashion accessory as much as a watch, I have even owned a couple of watches where it has been difficult to tell the time on them but they still look great! The watch that I am going to be reviewing today is my DKNY ... 4500 and I had it just over six months ago now. The watch is one that I spotted some time ago and I thought about it and went on about it and when I saw it reduced in a mid-season sale I was quick to buy it and here are my thoughts on the watch.
I purchased my DKNY watch from a local independent retailer, they have an excellent supply of watches and the DKNY brand is one that I have had watches from before. This watch at full price will cost you around the £89.00 mark which I think is quite a good price to pay. I was lucky enough to receive the watch at a reduced price of £75.00 so I was pleased with the discount. The watch can also be found at larger jewellers such as Bakers and F Hinds. You can also buy the watch online at places like Amazon and The Watch Shop. Unless you are lucky enough to find the watch in a sale then it will be the same no matter where you buy it from.
The watch comes in a presentation box and also comes with a detailed instruction book and a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee. The watch is made from a stainless steel metal and is a bracelet watch that has a metal clasp. The face is a rectangular shape and it has a white background which makes it very clear to read the time on the watch. On the face there is the DKNY logo in silver lettering. There is also the numbers 3 and 9 and then instead of having numbers for the 12 and 6, we have the Roman numeral letters, so XII and VI. The watch face, even though it does not have the other numbers on it, is very easy to tell the time on. It is clear and the silver hands of the watch work well against the white background.
The watch strap as I mentioned before, is a bracelet. It is quite a chunky looking and it is very comfortable to wear. There is a clasp shutter that you need to close for the watch to be secure. For the first few times in wearing this watch I found it to be quite fiddly to get the clasp opened and closed but it does give a little bit and becomes easier, I guess I just got used to it as well and became more confident with using it. Once on, the watch sits very comfortable on my wrist and it is really secure.
I love the overall look of the watch and it suits most outfits so it is perfect for casual wear but looks really smart for work as well. The watch is one that is quite timeless as well so I don't think it will really go out of fashion. Reliable and classy looking.
