Timex Expedition T43892:
... I grew up in the early 1980 s most of my friends didn t own a watch let alone be able to tell the time properly until they were 10 years old! My Gran had taught me how to read the time when I was 7 and from then up until I was 14 embarrassingly wore a red Timex Snoopy watch largely because watches were given as gifts and were something to be taken care of. When the late 1980 s exploded with the Swatch fashions I... Read the full review: A Timex Expedition Tradition by Nar2 |

Timex T890224E ... have a five year old daughter who seems to be growing up at an alarming rate. She is learning all kinds of interesting things at school, but has yet to grasp the concept of "far too early to get up" it seems. However she is keen to learn the time, and I bought this watch which is called a "time teacher" hoping it would be good first watch. If it couldn t teach her that five o clock is no time for the day to start I figured at least she would know I wasn t lying about the ungodly hour she starts the day at times. I plan to return the favour when she is 16 or so. What you get: This watch came in a rather unassuming red box for a quite inexpensive... Timex T-Series Chronograph ... upgraded to this watch about a year ago from another Timex once the battery had run out. Having used Timex previously and being really impressed I felt obliged to purchase another Timex model. Initially what attacted me to this particular model was that it was a chonograph and showed the date, the chronograph really does make it look really stylish. The strap is comfortable and offers a good level of adjustability which makes it suitable for all different size of wrist. It is a leather strap that adds to the quality of the watch and makes it more comfortable. The watch face itself is quite big which I really like because it simply makes it easier to read from. Timex Expedition T44563PF ... is a brand of watches that I associated with children and men. My first ever watch was a Timex, a simple, clear dial with easy to read numbers. Then there were the heavy, plain gent s watches. Not fancy, just utilitarian. A Timex watch wasn t the sort of thing I imagined owning in my 20s. However.... When I started flying light aircraft it soon became apparent that my fancy dress watch wasn t really going to be of much use. A small dial and no numbers, let alone second hands was not conducive to accurate timings and, when you re flying at over 100mph (relative to ground) that extra few seconds really make a difference! I tried just using a stopwatch but, alt... Read the full review: My Ten Year Timex Time Test by cmh4135 |
