“ Brand: Accurist / Watches for: Women „
For a long time, I had been wearing what was in effect a children's watch or perhaps a teenager's watch more accurately, bought for about £10 one day when mine stopped working.
For Christmas, I mentioned that I could do with a slightly more adult looking watch and I was bought the Accurist LB1730P. Mine was bought from Argos sbutcame in one of Accurist's simple white presentation box.
The watch is an interesting mixture between silver and gold. Therefore, it matches with pretty much anything, both colours being quite classic. Mostly it's silver but down the middle runs a streak of gold.
The watch face is mother of pearl surrounded by tiny diamonds and the hands are gold. There are no numbers on the fascia apart from the digits 12. On the right hand size of the face is a tiny window where the day of the moth shows.
You can alter this, and the time by using the little adjustment knob on the side. Pulling it out to various extremes allow you to do different things. Only problem is that sometimes my date is one day behind because it changes out of kilter with the real world time but that does not matter to me that much as I use it purely as a time tool rather than a calendar.
When I got mine it was much too big. Argos offered a free fitting service which I took advantage off during the busy Boxing Day sale. I had about 4 links removed until it sat snugly on my wrist.
The only thing I miss compared to my old watch is that this is a clasp style rather than a quick push it on bracelet style so it's harder to rush it in the morning.
I've had it for about 8 - 9 months now and no complaints.
