Advantages: Looks same as the t.v series version, flashing lights and sounds

Disadvantages: Game is difficult for a child to play

My son recieved this as a gift for christmas and as he is a huge Ben 10 fan I was expecting him to love it.

When he opened up he was very impressed at having a watch just like Ben 10's he put it straight on his arm and walked around showing it off proudly all day.

It wasn't untill later on when he fell asleep that I had a closer look at it and discovered there's actually a game built into it.

The idea is that you are being attacked and have to choose the correct alien for the job. The watch tells you the name of the alien and you then turn the dial on the watch until you find the picture of the alien that matches the name. Once you have selected the correct alien you battle it out and the winner is announced

I found the game quite difficult as I don't know all the names of the Ben 10 alien's but there is a little information database as part of the watch where you can read what alien is what and such.

The graphics are very poor as I would expect. The pictures are all in black and white and are the type where you see every little square that has made up the picture.

My son is 4 years old and although the watch is recomended for children aged 4 years and up he could not get the grasp of the game, maybe in a few months or so. He does however very much enjoy the lights and sounds produced from the watch when he twiddles and bangs it randomly.

My son loves it and is odten telling us he's turning into an alien, it dosn't matter that he's not making full use of it by playing the game as long as he is happy with it, which he is.

Before finishing I want to quickly point out that I have been calling this a watch for lack of a better word, it is not actually a time keeping device but an electronic game worn around the wrist and designed to look like the gadget that Ben 10 wears around his wrist.

Summary: A good fun toy but not really used to it's full potential unless you have an older child
