Advantages: lightweight, comfortable, inexpensive, waterproof

Disadvantages: Looks rubbery and cheap but then it is

I was watching the gadget show a few weeks before Christmas and one of their items was this little breo watch. They claimed it was being worn by loads of celebrities and that it was unusual because the bracelet was made of tourmaline which is a naturally occurring mineral which allegedly has health benefits such as:-

Increased concentration
Natural detoxification of the body
Improved sleep, relaxation and meditation
Improved vitality and mood

Even though I own around 10 watches I very rarely wear them as either they cut into my wrist and feel uncomfortable or the bracelet or clasp contains nickel which I am allergic too and I don't realize its contained until an hour or so after putting it on I begin to scratch and come out in very unbecoming red lumps. As such I'm always running around at lunchtime nervous of being late back to work asking people in shops the time or dashing upto the food court to see the clock.

I decided to ask hubby to buy me yet another watch as a Christmas present as this was soft, light and flexible the added health benefits sold it just that little bit more. Being the subtle person I am I sent him the link to the play.com website with the pink girls 16cm watch on it as I have very slim wrists and hands and ladies bracelets, bangles just fall straight off.

Christmas morning arrived and I was very happy to open my new trendy breo watch. The 16cm size took a little maneuvering over my hand but there was space when it got to my wrist but not enough to allow it to come off.

The bangle of the watch is indeed soft and flexible. The LCD screen is clear and the numbers are quite large. It feels so light that after putting it on I have only taken it off when showering or in the bath. It does claim to be waterproof to 10m and I have washed dishes with it on but have not yet had the nerve to chance anything to do with water which takes longer or is deeper.

I don't believe it has improved my concentration or detoxified me, I do feel more relaxed but that is probably because all the stress of organizing Christmas is over and I'm still enjoying my two weeks off work. As an insomniac who has tried everything and anything to get a good nights sleep I would definitely say this hasn't had any effect on the number of hours it takes me to nod off.

If I'm honest its not the prettiest watch or one with lots of functions but due to the fact that I can wear it day and night
without even noticing its there it's a winner in my book.

For £9.99 if you want a comfortable but not particularly stylish watch this is one of the best. Its available in mens, womens and childrens sizes in black, red, white, khaki, blue, pink and yellow.

So far it keeps perfect time and although its marketed as a sports watch I think this is due to the light nature of it as it doesn't have a stopwatch or indeed any other feature. There is a very tiny word which flashes constantly on the screen and as far as we can make out it says Imazing but I cannot find any reason for it.

Providing this watch lasts a reasonable amount of time and keeps the correct time if anything happens to it for comforts sake alone I will certainly buy another one.

Summary: A watch thats so unobtrusive and comfortable you can wear it 24 hours a day

Sorry but this is not my experience with this watch.
The strap lasted for Three weeks, then broke.
and time keeping to say the least Bad.
And Breo ??? well you may as well try to talk to a brick wall.
I would love to know how they have a strap that isn't covered by guarantee.
