As you will see from a previous review my main watch I wear is a Fossil watch, however I do have a second one which I tend not to wear everyday, this is a Calvin Klein K3923129. This watch was bought for me as a present several years ago, and although I do not use it everyday personally I think it is an attractive stylish watch.
The watch face and buckle are all made of stainless steel, however the main colour of the watch is pale pink. The strap is made of genuine leather, again in pale pink, and the watch is approximately 20cm in length, and although this makes the strap quite long there are 9 holes inorder to adjust the size meaning that it would fit any wrist. The strap itself is quite thin meaning it is not the strongest of straps. I have had to have 2 new straps on mine, with the watch being Calvin Klein the straps do not come cheap and are about £25 each, this is one of the reasons why I do not wear the watch everyday, I found it was getting too expensive to keep replacing the strap. The surround which the face is set in is oval in shape and again pale pink in colour, it is just over 4cm in length and 1.5cm across at the widest part. The round face is set in the middle of the oval surround is about 1cm in diameter making it quite small. The whole thing including the surround is covered in raised glass, this makes it look like the face is set within a bubble making it stand out slightly. There are no numbers on the face just 2 silver hands. For me I did not find this a problem and found it very easy to see the time, however having no numbers and such a small watch face may not be for everyone.
Packaging and Price
The watch came in a small Calvin Klein box with the watch displayed nicely in the middle. The box had the words Calvin Klein written on the box, and I think it was black in colour. I cannot remember the exact style of the box as it was a few years ago that I got the watch and I no longer have the original packaging. The watch cost £120, it is a little pricey however you are paying for the name Calvin Klein.
As I said earlier the watch is made out of stainless steel, this is engraved on the back of the watch, along with Calvin Klein logo. This watch is also waterproof up to 30m/ 100feet, again this is engraved on the back of the watch. The time can easily be altered with the small pin on the side, although small it is very simple to do. The battery can be changed by unscrewing the back of the watch, however I would recommend that this is done by a professional inorder to keep the watch waterproof.
Overall I have been very impressed with my Calvin Klein watch, it has lasted a long while and I have only had to have 1 battery. If I had one complaint it would be that the strap is quite thin and does need replacing every so often, but being Calvin Klein it is not cheap at £25 per strap. Despite this the watch has been hard wearing. Personally I like this watch as it is small and not too bulky on your wrist. It could be worn everyday (strap will wear quickly if you do) or it is stylish enough to wear just for night outs. I would say that this watch would suit anyone and is quite girly in appearance. Overall it is a nice stylish watch.
