When you think of the Brand diesel you think ruggeg, brand name, very butch. So when i went to get a new watch after ruining severeal by scratching them up i went for something rugged robust and could withstand day to day wear and tear. Leather strap big bulky casing and diesel seemed the perfect watch. What i got however was something that a 4 year old build out of lego. Day 1: within 3 hours of wearing my spanking new timepiece it lost 20 mins. This cant be right i thought so i set it right it was fine. Day 2 woke up it was now 4 hours slow. I called diesel they said beacuse it was kinetic it needed to be constantly moving on your wrist to power it, as it has no battery. So knowing this is usless to me unless im shakey stevens i set the time right one more time, and as i did so the minute hand fell off. I took it back to the shop where they laughed at the kinetic explination and exchanged it claiming it was faulty. Brilliant no hasstle brand new watch. 1 HOUR later half an hour slow straight back to the shop i went with it. The guy there went to change the time and both hands fell off. with this i couldnt belive it was happening so i said have you got anymore. 1 more he said shall i get it? Yes As he did so he went to set the right time no hands moved the the hour hand fell off. Im sorry my £25 from next has had a rough time and it hasnt lost a minute. Surely diesel can do better I would be interested to hear from anyone who owns a diesel watch beacuse this whole batch were clearly assembled by stevie wonder and the build quality has shocked me. sorry diesel never again will i buy one of your watches.
