Diesel DZ7073 I love the Diesel brand from their Shoes to their fragrances but also clothes. I find the brand stylish but still casual and young. It wasn't really a surprise to me that I would like their watches too the moment I saw them. Yes Diesel sells also watches and has quiet a lot of them these days. My first Diesel watch is from a few years ago actually but it was certainly not the first one I would ever buy from Diesel! This watch I actually got It from my birthday about a year ago and I still wear it often. What I do found with the diesel watches and that's the same case with some other brands, is that they feel very heavy on the arm. I'm working a lot behind the computer and sometimes it feels very comfortable. It's ok for this watch, although sometimes I just have to take it off but maybe that's just really a personal thing. The watch itself is beautiful and one of my favourites. It really stands out for me as a solid quality watch and after having it for a year and dropping it here and there, it's still in one piece and with no scratches. I love the front of the watch and it's stainless steel silver-tone which really give it a stylish feeling. The strap of the watch is leather and feels of great quality and has some nice details to it. The watch comes with a digital dial and has some basic functions like a alarm. It's also up to 50 meter water resistant which is always good to know when you are going on holiday so you don't really have to worry. The watch comes with a yellow light background and it has a little light which makes it more easy to read the time, but also the date. The watch comes with a steel case and the user instructions where you can read have to adjust the settings of the watch. In the instructions you will read about the Tips function which is actually just weird. It's a button on the phone and when you press it you get some random tips. Maybe fun in the beginning but it's something I never used again since the first day. So little bit useless. A really nice stylish watch which I really enjoy wearing. It's looks very manly with the leather and just loving the silver look at the front. The yellow gives it a more funky young feeling. The only negative I can find is the useless tips functions which really doesn't make a lot of sense for me.
I was looking for a nice modern watch to buy and decided it would have to be a Diesel after seeing their range. I had a look in a modern watch shop and decided on the DZ7073. It's a lovely watch - I opted for the black one although they also had a white one in stock. My main reason for this was that I've had a white strap watch before and it just gets terribly dirty and ruins it. The strap on this watch is actually really beautiful. It has a Diesel shield on each side of the watch face on the strap. This shield is black and silver with little screws in it, which looks stunning. A metal plate with the Diesel logo is also screwed into the strap on the lower bit. The watch has many holes to fit all size wrists - mine isn't huge and it fits well, with even tighter holes if you have a small wrist. The strap is of great quality - it's mainly leather with a plastic side to it. The leather has a pattern on it to make it look that much better. Lots of detail has gone into the strap so it looks very impressive and attractive. The strap is reasonably chunky, which is just the style I like. The strap fits through a metal part with the Diesel logo before being secured. The face itself looks great too. It has a shiny silver panel screwed in on each corner surrounding the screen, which seems to have a slight yellow tint in the background. The numbers are displayed digitally in black. You can change the settings but my current ones show the time in 12 hour mode with indicators for AM or PM as well as the date, day of the week and also the seconds too. The bottom strip on the screen shows which screen you're actually on within the menu. There are two main buttons on the left (mode and select) along with three on the right hand side, which are fitted onto a glossy panel. The watch has an alarm, stopwatch, timer and settings. It also has tips, where you can press the tip button to receive a tip. These can be pretty random and pressing it now, it says 'Eat out tonight'... looks like this watch could be costing me a lot! Some of the tips make me smile as they are reasonably funny. The watch also has a light, which works really well and fully illuminates the screen for a good few seconds. The time keeping on any watch is the main function. I didn't expect it to be excellent but this watch has kept superb time, having compared it to my radio alarm clock, which automatically streams the exact time. It also has the same time as any major clocks I look at whilst out and about and on the news. So overall this is an excellent and really stylish watch. It cost me a fair bit at around £100, but it was well worth it. It seems to be hard to buy right now as there are so many new versions out. I have seen people with similar versions but this one is quite unique on the street! The white one looks fantastic if you're willing to put up with the dirt-attracting strap. Highly recommended! Thanks for reading! :)
I got this watch for my last birthday and it has lasted me since. I had an accident where I hit it on a door and a screw from the face came out, but it was still under guarantee so was sent to Diesel and within 3 weeks, I had my watch back with a new face. It's a really nice watch as it looks great and is from a good designer. You can buy the watch in either white or black. The white one looks extremely nice and flashy - perhaps too flashy for ordinary wear, and I decided not go get it as it would get dirty very easily too. I bought the black one, which is still really nice. The strap is made from plastic with a leather appearance on the outside. It's very strong and hasn't worn away at all. It attaches to the watch face very securely too. The strap has a couple og shields on it with the letter 'D' on it to tell you it's Diesel, On the lower larger strap, there is also a Diesel logo just below the shield. The shield is metal and silver and black in appearance, which gives the watch such a fancy look, which can easily be seen when you're wearing it. The strap fits together very well and the watch did not need adjusting. It can fit all wrists from small ones to quite large ones, but it's not built for the largest wrists. The face of the watch is very special too. Where the strap leads up to the face is a shiny black metal, which goes round the sides where the buttons are too. It adds to the fancy look and quality build of the watch. The face itself has silver surrounding, which I imagine is made from steel. It has words engraved onto the sides to explain the buttons on each side. The display has a slight yellow background with black digits. It's very easy to view and you can change the layout in the settings. I have mine so it displays the date, day of week, time and seconds as well as whether it's am or pm. The great thing about the watch is that you can program two times and then just press one button to flick between them - great if you regularly travel between two time zones. The buttons on the side are silver in colour, which contrast nicely with the black. The whole watch is silver and black, which is very modern and flashy. It has many other features such as a stopwatch, alarms and settings. It also has a unique thing called 'Tips' where you can press the Tip button and you will get one. Pressing it now, it just said across the screen 'Your time is my pleasure.' There are loads of other tips, some of which appear to be quite handy, such as a reminder! You can also use the light, which works very well as well as programming the watch to beep on the hour. It's water resistant too so can be taken swimming in the sea or a pool, but try not to get it scratched as the face can be damaged quite easily. It can withhold up to 5 bars of pressure under water and a depth of 165 feet. It's a supreme quality watch and looks the part too. On the back of the face is the Diesel logo and it comes in a fancy white box round a soft cushion. It's not the cheapest watch at over £100, but it is a great quality watch and looks fantastic.
