I have a little bit of a watch fetish and as I like to mix and match a watch to my outfit every day I have quite a few of them.
I bought this watch as most of my watches are either silver coloured or else have a leather strap. I thought this one was unusual as although it is made with stainless steel like most metal watches it is black in colour instead of being silver.
I thought a black watch was unusual and that it would stand out a lot more on my wrist. The watch is a bracelet style with fastenings underneath it to keep it in place. It is completely black all over including the face but what makes it stand out so much is the fact that the hands on the face are gold coloured which really pops against the black and also that going all along the outside of the bracelet is a line of crystals which when they hit the light really shine and glisten.
The watch comes in a pretty display case which I like as I like to keep all my watches in their cases to keep them looking good and I like to keep them out on my chester drawers so a nice case is needed or else it just looks messy.
The watch keeps great time and has a winder on the side for setting the time. The only problem with it is that it only has marks for the 12, 15, 30 and 45. This isn't a problem in itself but because the face is quite small it can be hard to see what time it is without really looking closely.
Once the watch is on my wrist it feels comfortable but I do find that it is quite a tight fit as I put some weight on a few months ago and remember wearing the watch and thinking how it was pinching me a little bit.
The watch is really pretty though and not as expensive as some designer watches. I paid £89.99 for this watch so while it isn't cheap it isn't as expensive as some designer brands and it is just as well made and quality. The black is also really nice for a change and it is just a nice to be able to put this on after wearing a silver one for ages.
