I received my first flik flak from my dad after he came home from Switzerland. The colourful and innovative designs and themes never fail to cheer me up after I go to a shop selling flik flak.

The aluminum watch face does not get easily scratched. What worries me is that it might get dented so I find myself taking good care of the watch just to protect it. The strap is made of canvas though. I supposed that canvas is supposed to be more comfortable for kids but it is a material that does get dirty easily so you must be prepared for the strap to turn grey and dirty. The watch loop and the part with the bit to poke into the hole is made of plastic. This makes is quite uncomfortable for those with quite a big wrist size.

If your child is young and like colourful design, this is the watch for her. I bought myself this watch just to reminisce about my childhood and so far, it is still ticking although greying slowly. :)
