I had this really lovely fossil watch for about 4 years and only now has it become too worn and I am reluctantly replacing this watch and it fees to me like saying goodbye to an old friend. I wear a watch every day and always have done. Forgetting to put my watch on in the morning is horrible fir me and luckily rarely happens. I like wearing a watch so much I was tempted to try and find one that I could wear on my wedding day until I was breasted by friends about this idea. Obviuosly I love wearing a watch and I definately became attached to this one.
I bought this fossil watch from an independent store that is unfortunately no longer around. I think it cost me around £40 about 4 years ago and at the time this was an expensive purchase for me.
The watch looks great on. It has a nice square face bad decorative bracelet style strap. I had to get a couple of the square links taken out of the watch so that it would fit me. This was easy for a jeweller to do and I recall it only cost about £5.
The battery in the watch has lasted absolutely ages. It is only now after 4 years that the battery needs replacing. I Wouk get the battery replaced but because the watch has been so well loved and well used some of the silver finish has started wearing away masking it tatty. If it was not fir this wear and tear I would use this watch forever because it's so pretty and easy to tell the time on.
I've had a Fossil watch for a number of years now and I've found it to be both stylish and reliable. However the watch is what I'd describe as casual but smart and although it's great for everyday where and also for work it's not the kind of watch I'd wear to a party or other special function. I was browsing in my local Fossil shop and spotted the square bracelet watch and immediately took a shine to it. A few weeks later, when my mum and sister asked me what I wanted for my birthday I was quick to mention this watch and on the day was delighted to find this amongst my presents.
The watch itself is made of stainless steel and has a square face with rounded edges. The dial only has the hour, half hour and quarter hours marked in roman numerals. I don't mind this and think it adds a certain amount of charm to the design, however I know that some people find telling the time on watches with few numbers on difficult. The back of the watch face has an interesting swirly design, again in silver. The bracelet is also made up of round edged squares which are of different sizes and are linked together in a wonky fashion which brings a certain amount of quirkiness to the design. The squares on the strap alternate in terms of their finish, with half being shiny steel and the other being brushed and this makes the bracelet really stand out.
The watch is fastened with a small fold-over clasp on the last square and I have found this easy to open and close. I have very thin wrists and I was quite wary of buying a bracelet watch as the strap has to be adjusted significantly which is a hassle as the watch usually has to be sent away for this to be done. However in this case the links can be removed easily by unclipping the fast, just like the main one, and I did this myself when I got home. It is possible to remove up to three of the squares on the bracelet to make the strap of the desired size. I had to remove all of them and the watch now is a perfect fit so I am really pleased!
I've worn this on numerous occasions now and the watch still looks like new. It is comfortable and doesn't dig into the skin or slip off easily. I only tend to wear this on special occasions such as a party or wedding as I think it is a bit special and too nice to wear everyday. The watch is available in Fossil shops priced at £65 which I think, given the quality, is a price worth paying. I did have a look on the website but couldn't spot this particular design so I'm not sure if this has been discontinued. It comes packaged in a stylish tin box whose design can be chosen at the counter before paying and is handy for storing the watch in when it's not being worn. Overall, if you haven't already gathered, I adore this watch and have no hesitation in recommending.
I love watches and every year when I visit America I love going to the Fossil store and treating myself to a new watch as they work out much cheaper in the US than they do in the UK. Last year when I visited I got myself this little watch which is really pretty and unique and has a bracelet look to it.
This watch has a square face, the face has the Fossil name written on it and there are lines to indicate 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock on the time scale. This watch is really easy to read and the face is a nice size so you don't have to concentrate too hard to read the time on it.
The band on this watch is my favourite part of this watch, it has a cool, funky, bracelet look to it and is very modern and stylish. The squares all link on this bracelet and are set in a quirky wonky kind of style and the watch straps at the back with a subtle jewellery clasp.
I really like this watch because it is suitable for both every day wear, but it also looks quite nice when you are dressing up and is a really nice accessory.
As I said earlier, I bought this watch in a Fossil Store in the US, I can't remember how much I paid for it, but I think it worked out costing around £45 in sterling, at home however this watch is available for £65 on the Fossil UK store page, this is quite a good price for this watch as it looks great and doesn't wear or tear, it is made with stainless steel, so it won't rust or discolour.
Overall I am really pleased with my Fossil watch and am really glad that I bought it, I would recommend it to anyone who likes the watch/bracelet look and think that it would also make a lovely gift to someone. Overall I would give this watch 5 out of 5 stars.

My lovely boyfriend bought me this for my birthday last year. It is, in a word, versatile - nice enough for evenings but fine for daytime too, a little bit unique, and functional.
The watch comes packaged in a Fossil box, which itself is pretty gorgeous. The watch itself has a square face with rounded edges. Unlike the one in the picture, mine has a light pinkish-coloured face. It has a little pink on the side for changing the time.
The bracelet is the unique part of this watch. The links are different-sized squares, which are connected in an irregular way. Removing links is the easiest thing in the world - they just unclip, like the main clasp. The links look lovely, but I have noticed that occasionally they dig into my wrist a little because of the irregular shape of the bracelet. However, this is really only a minor concern and does not stop me wearing it. The watch, unlike others that I've owned, stays shut so there is no danger of losing it.
A final negative point is the lack of a date function. This doesn't upset me too much, but it may be a consideration of some importance for some ladies.
Despite these negatives, my experience with this watch has been excellent. For the price, I don't think you could do much better, personally - but only if you're the kind of person who's comfortable breaking the mould just a little. The battery has lasted well and the watch is even water resistant.
