“ Brand: Juicy Couture / Watch for: Women „
I have been a fan of juicy couture clothing and accessories from the age of 13 when i was introduced to their famous tracksuits in new york city. I have owned handbags, clothing, purses and this watch.
The watch was a present from my parents so i'm not entirely sure how much they paid for it but after looking around on the internet you are looking at paying around £155 which for a designer watch is a pretty good price. You may well be able to find it cheaper if you look around though.
Juicy couture is stocked by a few high end stores such as Selfridge's and Harvey Nichols and their watches can be found in some jewelers too.
Juicy couture is well known and well loved designer fashion brand founded in 1997 by two friends in LA, California. Its well loved by many well known celebrities and is best known for their velour tracksuits which many celebs have been photographed wearing. They have a large range of clothing, accessories, shoes and childrens wear.
As you would expect from a design watch it comes in a gorgeous brown and pink box which are the brands signature colours. The box has a cardboard sleeve with the juicy couture dog logo embossed on the outside. Once the sleeve is removed you have a sturdy box that opens up on a hinge to reveal the watch sitting in a plush pink interior. The whole packaging makes the watch look and feel expensive, exactly what i have come to expect from Juicy Couture so they do not disappoint.
The actual watch has a dusky pink leather strap which is really comfy to wear and has a good range of fittings already punched into the leather, so it doesn't matter if you have a slim or larger wrist you will find a setting for you. The silver buckle fits onto the strap easily and feels nice and secure when you are wearing it.
I love the 'live for sugar' slogan on the watch face again its in the brown and pink colour scheme which i love. The clock is analogue but because there is no actual number markings it not exactly the best for getting an accurate time on but to be honest this watch is more of a fashion statement than a practical option i think. The hands are easy to see against the dark background though.
I really like the added detail of the silver dog charm on the wrist strap it just adds a nice little detail on to an already really pretty watch.
I've been impressed with the quality of the watch. The strap is still looking nice and there are only a few signs of wear as the leather has softened. The only thing is with the strap being pink it can get a little dirty so its not a watch i wear on a daily basis. The stainless steel face has not wear at all as you would expect from stainless steel.
I find it really easy to adjust the time on the watch by simply pulling out the silver dial on the side of the watch face and turning it to the desired time.
Overall i really like this watch but i was pretty much sold from it being Juicy Couture. Its a lovely piece but not one that i would advise wearing on a daily basis as it may not wear as well as mine has if you do. Its great if you want an occasional watch but if you want one to wear on a daily basis i would suggest looking else where.
What girl doesn't like juicy couture, it is my favourite brand and if its good enough for the celebrates its good enough for me.
Juicy couture is an american company who make the softest velour tracksuits, stunning velour bags, jewellery, watches and perfume.
I have spent a fortune on juicy couture clothing and bags.
The live for sugar watch was the first juicy jewellery / watch i had ever had.
The watch was a birthday present from my boyfriend last year. It cost him £115 from rox in glasgow.
It come in a black box with all the juicy couture writing on the box instructions and an extra sterling silver charm.
The royal watch has a soft pink leather strap, on the strap is a sterling silver scotty dog charm. The scotty dog charm represents juicy couture.
The face is in black and has pink "live for sugar" slogan. There are no numbers on the face but you can still tell the time. On the end of each hand there is small crowns.
The watch is sterling silver all over apart from the strap.
It feels very comfortable on the wrist and the strap feels soft against the skin.
Live for sugar is part of the royal range for juicy couture, but they have many other ranges if this doesn't suit your taste.
I love my watch but only wear it on special occasions its too good for every day wear.
