Omega Aqua Terra (Omega Watches)
Member Name: Chris Fisher
Advantages: State of the art movement, Accuracy, Great classic understated looks Disadvantages: Can't see the movement, Price
After working away from home for a few months I thought I would treat myself to a good watch. I looked at various makes, and found that Omega had the classic look I was after, far more understated than Rolex. The Aqua Terra is a classic looking watch with either a quartz movement, or a state of the art co-axial movement. The co-axial movement is the one I went for, and it comes with a chronometer certificate to prove the movement has been tested. To be certified as a chronometer a movement needs to be 99.99% accurate (about 4-5 seconds a day). I checked mine after 3 weeks, and it had gained just 5 seconds in that time. A staggering 99.9999%.
