I have a Omega Seamaster Divier's Chrono, which is slightly different from James Bond's.
The divers chrono has stopwatch (three sub dial...) and is rated to 300 mtrs just like regular seamaster. I paid about $2000 for it in US

I have been wearing this watch for over 2 years and I can tell you that this watch is Bomb proof. This watch can take a licking and keep on ticking. The accuracy for a automatic is out of this world. Mine gains abpout 1 sec a day. But carefull positionaing it at night stand , I can make it loose the 1 sec gain thereby making it more accurate than my quarts Tag Huer. For example in last six months my watch has gained just 5 sec!!

Now I am an active person ...I remember riding my motorbike in India and having a nasty crash. Thankgod for my helmet my head was saved ... my body was all brused up, jeans torn .. bleeding form at least a dozen places. ...no effect on my omega.

The other time i went to Arizona, in my jeep. I removed my watch and sliped in the glove compartment and went for a swim. Later that afternoon we drove hard in the rocks of Grand canniyon ...all the while my Omega was being thrased in the glove comartment of my jeep. ...needless to say no effect on the watch.

I use power tools, play cricket, swim, do all kinds of odd jobs around the house with my watch in my wrist.

I think the reason for the robustness is the movement. It has Voljaux 7050. Which is essentally very highly evolved and stable movement.

I am a big fan of Omega. Next time I vist India I will pick the speedmaster reduced. I hear that if you dont have to pay tax then watch can be dirt cheap.
