This watch is gorgeous!!! i love it. The design is so stylish and looks a lot more expensive than it is!! Ive had loads of compliments from friends. When i went shopping for a new watch, i wasnt expecting to buy a watch like this, and when i first saw it, i thought it was a mans watch and liked it, but when i realised it was a womens watch, it made me like it even more because it has quite a masculine look and i think masculine watches on a womans wrist looks lovely.
The fastening is really good...i had to have a few links taken off because i have small wrists and that wasnt a problem for the jeweller. With other watches, ive always had a problem with the fastener..but this one seems to be really strong and has never come loose.
Ive worn the watch a lot and im not the most careful person when it comes to my possessions, and I admit i have knocked it about a bit, but because of the high quality of the face, it doesnt have any scratches on it.
The black background on the face also adds to the classy look and it makes it easy to colour code with clothes.
Perfect for everyday wear or even at work.
This watch is one that I bought a few years back and is still going strong as my favourite, despite acquiring a few watches since. You can buy these watches with different colour faces (white, black, pink) but that is the only variation.
The watch itself has a face which is 3cm x 2cm. It has a metal strap which is almost 2.5cm wide (at its narrowest part) and links can be removed from the watch at the time of purchase (just ask the jeweller) to make the watch fit to perfection. The watch closes by a metal clasp which is really sturdy, I have to say. Unlike other watches I have had, this clasp has never accidentally opened while I've been wearing it. You release the clasp by squeezing both ends of it's release button and the strap opens out so you can slip the watch on or off. The clasp itself has POLICE engraved on it.
On the face of the watch itself there is a strip of small diamantes (5 wide and 15 high) on the right hand side, and on the left hand side is the POLICE name. There is only one number on the watch (the number 3) and the rest of the hours are indicted by just a line where the number should be. Unlike some watches without numbers, I have found this pretty easy to tell the time on.
The watch is fairly simple in design - no second-hand and no date - but that just reduces the chances of something going wrong. The battery in my watch has been going strong for almost 4 years now which I also think is tremendous.
This watch cost me £110, but you may be able to get it a bit cheaper online. It has been worth every penny for me as not only is it pretty sturdy, but it's not too girlie, has received loads of compliments and goes with everything.
