The Seiko Sportura has all the style and class of a much more expensive watch. I picked mine up whilst abroad for just over $600, and this was quite a good deal. It has a great weight on the arm and is extremely comfortable to wear. It has all the usual bits and bobs that sports watches have, that of course we never use. Water resistant to 100m and built in alarm for example. I suspect, like mine the vast majority of these won't see the deep sea, nor wake anyone up in the morning. Still great for bragging rights though. I have issues however with two of the selling points of this watch however. The "anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal glass" can be hard to read at certain angles in the sun, and the "scratch resistant" brushed steel bracelet doesn't appear to be resisting many scratches even though I've tried to look after it well, which is a little disappointing for such an expensive watch. All in all it still looks the part, and always attracts comments. It looks like a very expensive watch, which is really what we are all after. Just a shame it scratches a little easy!
