A casual girly watch which does the job well at a great price

After having the same watch for about 5 years, I decided it was time to get a new one which led me straight to the Argos catalogue seeing as my other one had been from there and worked well for all these years so I knew they're trustworthy. I'm not a big fan of digital watches, so I decided to go for the Spirit Ladies Embroided Cuff watch which was analogue. I bought this watch in a 2 for 1 deal from Argos at £15, which I think is a decent enough price for a watch. I've never had a Spirit brand watch before and thought maybe the picture shown in the catalogue would make it look a lot nicer than it actually was. It came in a nice little box, and I actually ended up using it to store some of my smaller jewellery. So it does come with a little bonus of having yet another storage container for bits and bobs. The look of the watch is very feminine and girly, with the main colour being brown and then with a pink flower embroided on it. I thought maybe if the design was embroided that there may be some issues with it coming unravelled but it's been through quite a lot of being thrown around and scratched on things and none of the string has come off or looks grubby yet. The strap is thicker than most other watches, but I found that this just makes it feel more secure. It also can fit both bigger and slimmer wrists as both myself and my mum have different size wrists yet managed to wear it comfortably. The screen of the watch is very strong and the background of that is a nice pink with a small flower on the side. I quite like the look of it as it's quite casual and goes well with most outfits. The hands on the clock are quite thin, however you can always see them clearly as the background makes the silver colour of them stand out. I wasn't too fussed about the fact that they don't have numbers but markers instead, but I know that some people prefer numbers so it is a factor to consider when buying. It's not heavy to wear like other types of watches such as metal watches, and the strap is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. It's not too bulky either, and I always find working at computers can be annoying with those kinds of watches, so the fact it was quite slim was a plus. Adjusting the time is the only small problem I have with the watch, its a bit fiddly with the bit on the side of the watch as it's hard to get it unhinged enough to be able to turn it. Even then when it's taken out it's difficult to turn around but eventually it does work. Overall, I would definitely recommend this watch to someone looking for a casual and girly watch that will work well and doesn't have the bulky design many watches have. It's also a great price for such a
