I asked my parents for a watch for christmas and, though I originally started looking at Gucci, etc, I saw the range of storm watches in John Lewis' and needed one right away. Unlike most watches, you do not need to compromise between an everyday casual trendy watch or full on glamour and style as these watches are true all rounders.

Alot of the watches come with coloured faces and these are the most recognisable storm watches, however, I am a bit of a co-ordination beast and wanted a style that would go with absolutely everything I wanted to wear. I was also looking for a style that I could wear everyday which would also look dressed up for going out(I hate having more than one watch and having to swap them to suit the occasion). The style I chose is in completly matt silver with no numbers or number markings and is a very interesting and stylish round face set in a rectangle.

I've had this watch since December now and I've had no problems at all with it. It has not scratched, it has been ok in water, always been reliable and I've always taken pleasure from wearing it. It has also earned me compliments every now and again as it is really stylish and looks quite unusual.

As far as I know (in Sheffield anyway) you can get them from Debenhams, John Lewis'and Argos.
Also, if you are looking for a watch for a present, these watches come in a fantastic silver can like tin- a bit like the Jean Paul Gaultier packaging-which is also v.good.
