Advantages: Good quality, trendy and hip looking, excellent time keepers
Disadvantages: irritatingly recogniseable sometimes! Can be difficult to find a place that sells them
I hear those words so often, "is that a storm watch you're wearing?". Storm has to be one of the most instantly recogniseable watches around and so I have to say from the start that if it will really irritate you people saying that, then buy something else! That aside in the year that I have had my watch I have been on time, trendy and happy!! Storm watches are available from many retailers, some jewellers and department stores,Freemans catalogue and I do believe you can order them from the company direct. The best bit is that they are actually quite reasonable at between £50-80 and when I was looking across the spectrum of watches, Tag heurs, Gucci etc I felt that the quality and price together made it a great buy. It was also cheap enough that in time when you wanted a different style, or something not so distinctive and fashion conscious, that it would be ok to buy another and not feel that you had a thousand pound watch in the draw! The watches are all in matt silver/metal finish and come in a number of shapes and watch face colours. The most recogniseable model is the one similar to mine with a smallish round protruding face. There are also models in the shape of a flower as well as other distinctive ranges. I can only really comment on the female ranges, although i have heard that the mens are just as good! In the past year I have had no problems with my watch, as with the link straps which sometimes are prone to problems, mine is intact. The battery is still going and i am still getting to places on time. Overall, i think storm watches are fashionable, reliable and of good quality and anyone considering buying a new watch should go and look at the whole range as i am sure they will see something that they like.
