“ Brand: Swatch / Watch for: Women „
As you would expect with a watch called Floreada this is a very bright and summery looking watch and one that I actually purchased while on holiday in the USA however we were in New York at the time and not Florida, it cost me $79 at the time from the duty free shop at JFK airport.
Like all Swatch watches it is battery operated and is a reliable time piece, apart from when the clocks change I have not needed to adjust it once in the three years that I have had it and in that time it has gone through one change of batteries which is about normal as the batteries usually have a life of between two to three years.
One of the good things about this watch is that there has been no fraying of the strap which is a fabric over leather construction, I have had a fraying problem with a similar design before however this one has not sufferred from this problem. The strap is very comfortable and also very funky with orange flowers and stems with a splash of white on a shocking pink background, it is a cool flowing design and very attractive.
The watch face itself has a nice cool design touch with a silver face and a sunken inner circle that is framed by an orange swirl and a few white leaves while the swirl of one of the stems replaces the number three on the watch face, the rest of the numbers are in the same bold pink as the strap and hour and minute hands are silver.
It really is a cool design and one that has a real feel of summer to it. The watch is also really well made and I have been impressed by how robust the strap has been. If you can track it down then it is a lovely watch to own and of course it is very accurate as well.
