Swatch Strawberry Jam has a rather special place in my collection as it was the first Swatch bought for me by my partner and the father of my child. It is a simple bright red watch that costs around the £30 to £40 level.
It is a bit unique in that it is one of the few Swatch watches that I own to have a leather strap, it is a dark red colour with indented diamond shapes running along it, one large diamond with four smaller diamonds inside of it and this pattern is repeated down the strap, the buckle is a clear plastic and the brightness of the strap makes it a rather striking watch.
The casing of the watch is plastic and the face is a silver colour with red numbers around the outside, the hour and minute hands are silver but with red dots at the end while the second hand is just silver.
I like this watch for its simplicity and stylish design, there is nothing very flashy or unique about it but it is an everyday wear style of watch which will compliment outfits which had red or white in them and it also adds a splash of colour to dark colours as well.
It was bought out in the summer of 2005 and so far it has gone through one set of batteries which is not bad considering they usually have a two year life to them, it is supposed to be water resistant to 30 metres but I have never got it wet. It would not be good for the leather I assume.
