“ Brand: Swatch / Watch for: Women „
The latest addition to my Swatch collection was a rather pricey purchase as it is a Swatch that is rather hard to find and I ended up paying £75 for it which is rather a lot. It is part of the irony range of watches and is a chronograph style of watch with a number of dials on the face of the watch.
This is quite a stylish watch with regards to the materials used however the bright, almost gawdy colours used makes it also a fun watch to wear. It is a reliable time keeper and very comfortable on my wrist. I wear it more as an everyday sort of watch rather than one I would wear if I was going out in the evening to somewhere posh.
The strap is made of rubber and leather and is dark blue with a bright orange strip running down the center of it.. The main body of the strap is rubber with the leather strip of orange in the middle. The watch casing is aluminium and is also in a dark blue colour to match the strap. This gives the watch a chunky, substantial feel to it. Set within the face there are three chronograph dials which are orange in colour as are the numbers which are set on the casing rather than the dial of the watch. The minute hand is a black colour while the hour hand is silver. There are also three buttons on the outside to operate the dials.
Overall it is a cool design however I could understand that the colour combination may not be to the taste of those who prefer a more feminine looking watch. It has a more racy feel to it and is a fun design and is very comfortable to wear. It is battery powered as are the vast majority of Swatch watches.
