Great early addition to my collection

The Swatch Serpent's Tale watch is one of my oldest and still one of my favourite Swatch watches in my collection. The only real negative is that for some reason it has started to lose a bit of time over a period of time, given that it is a battery operated watch and the battery currently in it is new enough, having said that it is over eight years old so maybe it is just coming to ned of its life span. Given that it was one of the first Swatch watches I got given and one that sparked my interest in collecting them it is one that I will never get rid of even if it gives up the ghost completely.

It is a metal watch from the irony range of Swatches. The metal strap is a lovely smooth shaped piece of design that looks like a snake curling around my wrist in a series of "S" shapes and it is a silver colour. It looks cool and is very comfortable to wear and not that heavy.

The watch face itself is circular with a sort of speckled blue and white colouring, it is a pale blue tone and there are no numbers on the face just the silver hour and minute hands. The whole watch has a cold feel to it in fitting with the irony range of watches and it looks very stylish on my wrist, quite classy and the fact that the casing is also stainless steel rather than the more common plastic casing means that it is quite a substantial watch.

This was a gift so I have no idea on cost and it is no longer made so would be hard to find these days other than maybe on ebay or some foreign websites. It is an attractive quite feminine watch and one that I will always treasure even if it has stopped being as accurate as I would like it to be.
