A number of new additions have been made to my collection of Swatch watches and this includes the 'Spontaneous Time' model. The watch differs from a lot of my Swatch watches in that it has a number of colours on the strap and casing and although the colours aren't the most vibrant it is something a bit different. What isn't clear from the picture is that the strap doesn't follow most Swatch watches in the fact that it doesn't have a plastic or plain leather strap. This watch has a leather strap, but has a textile finish to it in the shape of the white, black and khaki green stripes. The stripes vary in width for added effect and the casing continues with this colour theme.
The face of the watch has a brushed aluminium finish to it, and the day and date function is the same colour green as is on the strap. The casing of the watch is a translucent hard plastic and the buckle of the watch is also the same material. I like the whole look of the watch and something you will notice when owning a Swatch watch is that they are all very well designed and like nothing else you will wear. I believe the design is not a new model, but I have enjoyed wearing it since buying it a few weeks ago.
This watch keeps with tradition by being a high quality timepiece and my opinion of Swatch is ever growing with my collection. The colour of the watch would make it more masculine in my opinion but it is sold as a unisex watch. I also feel that it doesn't suit as many outfits as other watches but is therefore quite unique.
