This was a very apt Christmas present a few years ago, it is suitable for a present in the coldest months of the year because the theme is a very wintery one that runs through this watch. I have had this watch for over 4 years now and it has been very reliable indeed as a time piece, it is now on its second battery and still going strong, on average Swatch batteries tend to last for a couple of years when new in.

The watch has a slender metal strap which is a series of rectangular links, most of it is plain metal however the last two links either side of the watch have a snowflake and star detail on them. It is quite an elegant looking watch and rather feminine, it is also very light on my wrist and comfortable to wear. It is a watch that would not look totally out of place on a night out however the casing is plastic which does slightly detract from the look. It is also a nice watch just to wear on a lounging around day as it goes with just about anything.

The watch face itself is nice and simple, it is a square design which is quite unusual for a Swatch, it has a white face with a single crystal where the 12 would be and there are no numbers on the dial. There is a simple snowflake pattern that covers the lower quarter of the watch face and this pattern continues onto the casing as well so that it gives the appearance that the snowflake is actually frozen inside the watch, it is a neat look and one that makes the watch a little different.

Personally the watch could do with a splash of colour however hard that is when using a wintery theme, the white minute and hour hands could have been changed to provide this. However it is a cool design and a nice comfortable watch to wear and a reliable teller of the time.
