I wanted this watch for so long! It looks fantastic. When holidaying in Dubai I saw it in a jewelry shop window for about 2/3 of the price. I simply had to have it. I think that I paid about £2000 for it. It was a hell of a lot of money to lay down for a watch if your not a footballer.
It is a really stylish watch with a black face to it. It looks incredibly stylish and has a nice weight to it. It has 3 chronographs at the 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions. The rest of the watch is steel coloured and the case is 43mm steel. I bought the watch with a steel wrist strap but it is also available with a black leather strap. They both look fantastic and it took me a while to decide between the two, but eventually I went for the steel strap.
The face is a nice large size and fits nicely against an average mans wrist. The face is easy to read and in the dark you are helped by luminous hands which allow you to see the time at night. You can take this watch in the pool and it is water resistant to around 100m. If you buy it from a Registered Tag Heur dealership then the watch is guaranteed for 2 years and you can take it to any registered Tag Heur dealership to have it repaired. This watch is great and I fully recommend it too anyone looking for a nice smart watch.
This is the second Tag I have owned, replacing a 7 year old Aquaracer. I bought this as an engagement present to myself for around £2200 from Watches of Switzerland in Cardiff.
My watch is slightly different to the one in the picture-as I have a black leather strap in place of the metal one shown.
From the 2 that I have had I can only say positive things about Tag watches as a whole.
This one comes with 3 chronographs in addition to the standard watch face-which are easily operated using 2 of the 3 crowns located on the right hand side of the face.
The 3rd crown is used to alter the date function, which is located on the right of the face.
This is an automatic watch, which means instead of having a built in battery it relied on the kinetic energy generated by wearing it to keep it going. This means that if you stop wearing it for s couple of days, it will stop & need readjusted. This might annoy some people but is a minor issue to me.
The watch is waterproof up to 50m which I'd fine, as long as you don't take it deep sea diving! On the back of the watch there is a clear glass screen which means you can see all the inner mechanisms of the watch.
The main face of the watch is probably a but thicker than you would think because it is automatic, but this does not bother me.
Overall, an excellent watch which looks lovely & impressed the ladies & gents in equal measures!
