Watches really are one of the most useful inventions in modern society and as anyone knows, a good watch will last you faithfully for years.

Timex is a truly excellent maker of practical, reliable watches and after my purchase of a Timex Expedition watch i'm certainly not looking back.

** Price **

I found this watch at a camping store in Loughborough and was extremely impressed with the £21.99 price tag. Even more so, when I discovered that it came with a free L.E.D torch. (That incidentally, is very good too and so bright you won't get lost anywhere with it)
This was very reasonable for a good quality watch, ive had some far more expensive and they've been real rubbish.

** Design **

The design of this watch is very simple, a black case with white face, and a black strap. The strap is material with elastic near the watch face, so is very hard wearing and also very comfortable. As with all good watches, you can't even feel that you are wearing it. It's not very stylish but does the job, and very well at that. I don't know if this is part of the design or not but so far it has been completely scratchproof, very handy when out on field maneuvers!

** Features **

The watch has a few simple features, which make it a very handy watch put not too over packed with silly tools. The watch displays the date, and it is water resistant to deeper than I ever plan on going! It also features Indiglo, a very useful backlight for using your watch in the dark. It is also so bright that I have been known to use it as a rudimentary torch! The hands themselves are also slightly luminous in the dark so if you look closely at night you can see them.

All in all this is a fantastic reliable, useful watch, a timeless (haha) classic.
