      Classy device

When I was made redundant earlier in the year I felt the need to use some of the redundancy money to treat myself to a fancy watch. After reading nothing but positive reviews about the Tissot range I went out to hunt a Tissot device for around the £300 mark and came back with the PRS516 and have been overall thrilled with it!

First and foremost the watch did slide a tad out of my price range and set me back £320 but when you compare this watch to others around the same price, this stands out a country mile. First impressions count and the stunning aesthetics of this watch will almost force you to buy it. As soon as I saw it staring at me I knew I wanted it! Alongside other similar price devices in store the glean on the silver, the appealing face and the classy design as well as the weight feel to the whole watch make it feel more worthy of a purchase.

The watch comes in a range of colours but the one I have is the silver device as pictured here. It can also be bought in black with the leather strap but the silver one looks far more classy and far more expensive. After all if you are paying £300 for a watch you want it to look £300 worth!

It comes in a lovely gift box too and this is so eye catching that it doesn't look out of place on my dresser. I leave it there with the watch inside to keep it protected but the stainless steel compound and tough design of the watch mean it protects itself anyway! For anyone keen on using it is also 100m waters resistant.

As you will see from the face it has stylish and classy hands and the blend of grey and black with all the functions on face, which includes the date, make for a stylish piece of kit. It all matches well and has been well designed. The nice large face makes it superb to see and easy to look at.

The hands are also luminescent which means you can see easier in dim light or the dark. They really do light up a great deal too without looking cheap and I found this to be very good use when driving and I only needed a quick glance at the watch.

On the wrist it feels weighty and solid as you would hope for £320. It is comfortable and doesn't make you sweat underneath like some silver based devices. Its sits sung and the clasp and catchers are strong and you will not have any issue.

Another big bonus here is that this is an automatic watch which is all the rage these days meaning you do not have to self wind and the movements of your wrist will keep it going. A tiny factor you may not even realise is inherent in the product but it is there. It does not mean much practically and like I say you will barely notice the feature but if little tech additions like this are your cup of tea then you will sure have fun with this watch!

Overall I have been thrilled with the Tissot PRS516 device. It looks superb and the look of the watch on my wrists has attracted so many comments at gathering, it feels solid and expensive and looks like a far greater price tag is carried. In terms of decorations its superb. Importantly as well it functions like a dream and is easy to set up, comfy to wear and does a great job!

All in all a highly recommended, mid budget classy watch, no faults!
