The Tissot T-Touch watch is undoubtedly a great looking, feature packed time piece and super James Bond style gadget. The only criticism I would have with the watch itself is its lack of a backlight.

The real real problem with this watch and I guess any other Tissot watch is the poor and slow support service provided by Swatch (who produce Tissot products) if anything goes wrong.

For example:
Within a month of purchasing my Tissot T-Touch it had suffered a problem with the compass. It took Swatch over two months to address this. Within a month of having it back, the same fault happened again. A similar timeframe passed by again - only this time I was supplied with a brand new watch.

Two months down the line and the battery has now gone flat in this new one! The watch is back again with Swatch. I am prepared for another long wait. It has now been away another four weeks and I am still waiting...

I believe the watch has actually been with Swatch for the same period of time that I have owned it. Trying to get a response from the service centre is equally futile.

My advice is that if you do happen to own one of these and it develops a fault then purchase a trusty cheap watch too...You may need to rely on this quite a lot whilst it is away being repaired.

Summary: Buy one and keep your fingers crossed you never need to have it repaired or the battery replaced
