I bought this water jug after moving house to find I seem to live in an area where chlorine is released constantly just great hey I hate that nasty water taste its horrid so in order to have a 'nice' glass of water to drink as I am told its so good for me I looked into getting a water filter. I got this one for £19.99 of course shop around a prices will vary.

The jug comes with filters to 'cleanse' using a '5 step filteration system' which works by removing particles from water large and small, absorbs chlorine, traces of metal. The jug was easy enough to put together, you pop the cartridge into its holder and away you go you fill the jug with water then wait for your pure water to filter through. It has a Cartridge replacement indicator which you can set to remind you when the filter will need changing they should last around 60 days.

The jug is made to fit in the fridge which it does easily and has a lid which allows you to pour water through it to fill it up when running low and allows water to flow out of the jug easily. The jug can hold up to 2.5 litres of water including the water that filters through. Its a good way of knowing you have had your daily water intake see how much you can drink in one day.

So does it work
Well yes no more horrid chlorine water for me it tastes like fresh bottled water and in the long run buying the jug and filters is cheaper than constantly buying large bottles of water to avoid the chemicals flowing from my tap. The filters can be purchased for £15.95 for 6 from Amazon so thats a years worth of pure water for a small price.
