Let's be honest, with all the hoo-haa about cleanliness and hygiene nowadays, it will not hurt anyone to make a little extra effort to incorporate that as much as possible into their day to day life. And what better way to start than to take a precautionary measure to filter something that we are meant drink 8-10 glasses of per day? I have been using the Brita Aluna water filter for 2 years now, and I cannot think of any noteworthy complain that I have. Agreed that it is a little pricey given the one-time cost of buying the filter jug and then the subsequent cost of replacing the filters, but believe me when I say that there is actually a difference in taste of unfiltered and filtered water. Just to be clear, a good difference! Once you start using this filter, you might actually feel uncomfortable drinking unfiltered water because psychologically you will taste the difference more! The only tedious thing would be that it is a little time consuming when the filter needs to be changed. Nevertheless, all in all, I would say go for it!
