Ok so we all know that drinking water is good for us right. Well for those lucky enough to live in areas with good quality water thats great however where I work and live the water quality is not that good its tastes more like a swimming baths than a refreshing glass of clean water, and so buying bottled water is normally the option unless you have a filter for the water as I do at home.

At nursery however a small filter will not cut it and so we invested in this the pieces are easy to put together you then lift the lid and fill it with a 2 litre jug of water. A filter is in the system which cleans the water before it gets to the drinking stage.

To use you simply put a glass under or in our case plastic drinking bottle under and push the lever back a bit like self sevice at pizza hut on drinks and thats it the water flows out at an even pace and when you cups full you stop pressing the lever easy.

The water sytem is plugged into the mains to cool the water as well so you need to make sure you have the power turned on if you want chilled water.

Our machine cost £70 but I have seen them cheaper on Amazon for around £55 the filter refil cartridges can be picked up from asda for around £10 for 2 sometimes you will get lucky and they will be on offer.
When you put a new filter in you press a buuton on the top which will then count down until its time to change it each filter usually lasts around 1 month.

I would recommend these filters for your office or in my case nusrsery but personally I wouldn't have one in my home my kitchen isn't that big and I don't drink that much water in a day.

We have had ours 2 years which is good because its used everyday by up 2 40 children.
