“ Brand: Arena / Equipment Type: Goggles „
I swim quite often and just cannot stand the chlorine going into my eyes. It stings and I bet it can be bad for your vision in the long run. So goggles are indispensable for my long swimming sessions and therefore a good pair is needed for it to last as long as possible. Speedo googles are normally too expensive for a recreational swimmer, I do not need professional equipment so I was looking for a cheaper option, and then that was when I found the arena tracks. Previously I have had the arena swedish, they were antifog as well and I liked them a lot. The problem with the swedish ones was that the strap was too weak and would break within 8 months, if not before. But I liked arena, so I just needed to find ones with better quality. The tracks were the answer, being kind of similar to the swedish in design, but having a more resistant and sturdy strap that still looks the same even after a year of use.
I have to say that the downside of the tracks is that the antifog feature will gradually disappear, and now it is very annoying when I swim, because I have to stop every 2 laps to clean the fog on my lenses that does not let me to see anymore.
Generally they are good goggles and even though they have that problem, I would still recommend them. They are comfortable and look good.
