In February 2004 I was looking for a low priced, good make webcam for my internet video chat via yahoo & msn instant messengers. I looked all over the web for a webcam with reasonable image quality, it didn't have to be perfect just good enough for my video chat so when looking I came accross this webcam and the price was £20 odd pound so I purchased it and when I received it and set it up I was very impressed. I have used it loads for video chatting with friends and people on chat rooms. The image quality of 640 x 480 is about average resolution for the price range. I like it's small and compact stand design where I can fold it to stand on my main computer desk or clip it to my laptop computer screen. If your looking for a webcam you can use when travelling & on your main computer look no further then this model, it has perfect length cable as well to connect it to the usb port. The webcam is powered via the USB port so no need for extra power leads or the problem of batteries & the problem of them going flat. This webcam is a great piece of equipment especially for video chat on a broadband connection.
