Extremely cheap, decent quality (Creative Webcam NX)

Advantages: Easy to setup and use, low cost

I bought this web cam as my first, because it was sold on ebay for around £3. For that value, it is extremely good. It focuses well, not bad picture quality, and is perfectly adequate for msn web cam chatting.

It sits ontop of a computer screen by folding in the rear leg, or can stand on a surface as shown the picture. The blue button on the top brings up the creative web cam suite, and this button is the still picture button. there are a variety of effects which can be used, as well as some features i did not expect from such a cheap web cam, such as motion sensitive capture, and delays on video and picture capture.

The web cam is larger than other models i have seen from creative, and i would guess this is due to the price. I would recommend this product if looking for a true entry level webcam, but would recommend spending that little bit more and getting a 3 mega pixel camera if you plan on using it for youtube etc.

Summary: Great value, but would advise spending that little bit more
