Creative Webcam Live! ... got this webcam as part of a package with my computer and now I can understand why, thus webcam really is not that good and i ll go into detail now. First of all, the software is horrible to sort out, I lost the disc and had to look on the internet for about 3 hours downloading numerous files in order to try and get it working, and despite actually working I can t actually see myself on webcam on MSN, whilst others can, which makes it hard to tell where to place the webcam. The webcam is really jumpy, always freezing and all the legs have snapped off in the last 6 months, so much so that we now need to use blu tack in order to make it stand on a laptop or desktop, ove... For example, I bought this cam following a dud older webcam which had no technical support for Windows Vista and was therefore completely reduntant. So what was I looking for? Creative Live! Cam Notebook ... bought my Creative Live Notebook Cam on Amazon for a very reasonable £15.26 and with the super saver option I had no postage and packing to pay. I didn t need a big fancy looking cam with all the super duper mods and cons, I just wanted a cam to be a cam. I had toyed with several other models, but after much deliberation came down on the side of this. One of the main reasons apart from the fact that it looks pretty good, was the manufacturer. I have had a few other Creative items and have never had any problems with either installation or use.
