Creative Webcam NX ... see their ugly mugs and them mine. Mainly it was so aunts and uncles can see the kids and how they are growing up very fast. I had no interest in shopping around and trying to buy the best webcam for the least expensive price, I just picked one and bought it. I knew very little about them so trying to choose the best would have been pretty much impossible for me but I feel the one I did pick (Creative Webcam NX) is exactly what I was looking for. It is compact, decent looking and was very easy to install, it does exactly what it is supposed to and I see no reason to complain about it. It s my first camera in whole life and have to tell you that I m not going to change it. Video resolution 800 to 600 pixels is absolutely fine for having a good videoconference. Does quite well when is dark. Have very interesting software which recognises main point on your faces and thanks to it you can choose a mask, hat, sombrero, moustache or one of huge number of them. Creative Live! Cam Vista IM ... is a pretty cheap camera, I d like to mention firstly. It also comes with a whole load of software from creative that you really do not need. I would recommend binning the CD and just downloading the drivers for the cam from the creative website, that way you avoid having to spend a considerable amount of time getting rid of all the crap. The camera itself does what it says on the tin. It s got a nice grip to the feet that prevents it from slipping off your laptop or on any tilted surface. The manual adjust is easy to use as well.
