Advantages: plug and play with no problems

Although no longer in production, these cameras are well worth holding on to. Windows XP and vista will recognise them although the software is obsolete. The picture clarity in all light is up there with the best and the pan and zoom function makes this a very useful item, focusing is also very good. In XP you will be able to take still shots straight from the camera to your pc and it will store them in its internal memory. The audo/video leads enable connection to a tv or monitor so this webcam is well suited to use as a security camera.
The detachable adjustable foot is securely mounted allowing the cam to sit on top of a monitor quite comfortably. In comparison to other brands still in production, the intel pc pro is one of the best. If you are fortunate enough to find on for sale, grab it with both hands.

Summary: If you see one, grab it and don't let go.
