Premium Review Kodak DC 210 Plus Zoom: Quick sharp shooter (404 words)

Rating:

I have owned my DC 210 Plus since Sept 1998, which I bought on a trip to Japan. Having paid just 40,000 yen about £200 at the time (I refuse to pay the price of electronics in the UK, too expensive) I am very impressed with the images it produces. Okay the images aren’t as good as a traditional camera, but for its time the images are good enough for small prints and for web work. Holding the DC210 plus feels nice as the body is coated in rubber in all the right places so that a firm hold can be acheived. To take a picture you just point the camera and press the button. Everything is taken care of. Although in low light conditions the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A good all-rounder for great pictures (305 words)

I've been using this camera for just over 18 months now, and am very pleased with my purchase, although I do look enviously at some of the smaller cameras that are appearing now. That having been said, size apart, (and it's not actually that big), it's a great camera. The picture quality can be set to one of six modes, and you can mix-and-match on the same CF. I tend to run in "Better", "High" which lets me fit around 40 snaps onto my CF card. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Kodak DC 210 Plus Zoom: Capture Exceptional Digital Pictures with Ease… (826 words)

I bought my Kodak DC210+ digital camera in July 1999. It replaced a conventional camera that I hardly used. I have taken over 600 pictures in the time since I have had it and would never go back to conventional film. For those not familiar with digital photography I can give a brief run down on how it works. Film is replaced with an 8Mb CompactFlash memory card. This allows you to take up to 120 pictures at any one time, although this is at the lowest setting – this was quite acceptable until I started to use the better settings. I bought a 16Mb CompactFlash card to make sure I never ran out of pictures in the end. This allows you take pictures and ...  Read the complete review
