Hubby and I bought our digital camera about 18 months ago. We checked out a few different packages, and decided on the Kodak because of the ease of use. It definitely isn't one of the prettiest cameras on the market, but what it lacks in style in makes up for in performance. Ease of use is amazing. Simply press the button and take your photo. Check the photo out on the LCD screen at the rear of the camera, no good, "bin" it and take some more. Simple. I have two picture cards with my camera, one of 8mb and one 4mb - so even if I take enough "good" shots to fill up the 8mb I still have the 4mb to fall back on. Excellent ... Read the complete review

I'd been interested in purchasing a digital camera ever since they appeared on the market three or four years ago, however, two factors held me back, firstly the exhorbitant prices, and secondly the picture quality. Im glad to say that over the last year or so, both of these aspects have come forward in leaps and bounds, so I took the plunge and purchased a Kodak DC240 camera, and haven't looked back since. Ok, it may seem pricey, but if you look to the long term, just remember that once you've made the initial outlay, never again do you have to pay film processing costs. In the several months I've owned it, I've taken well over 2000 ... Read the complete review

This is the first digital camera I have ever owned, but have owned a number of cameras in the past including an SLR. We bought it because we wanted to have a reliable camera to make sure that we wouldn't miss our baby's firsts by taking bad pictures. I have found it extremely easy to use and it offers a fail safe way to ensure you get the picture you want because of the review method - you can see the picture within seconds of taking it. I am reasonably computer literate and have found the way of uploading the pictures to the computer to be extremely simple. You can treat the camera as if it were a folder on your hard disk and then simply ... Read the complete review

What a fantastic camera. This was our second digital camera, our first being one of those standard things that come with a new computer package. It was fine but didnt take many pics and the quality left a bit to be desired. So we decided to invest in something cool... knowing not a great deal about digital cameras we decided on the Kodak DC240 and were very impressed from day one. Its extremely easy to use and to get the hang of, in fact we bought it and went straight out for the day, took it out of the box on the way and were taking piccies before long. Once back home, plugged it into the computer and hey presto, such fantastic ... Read the complete review

I have just purchased this camera for a car-dealer client, so that he can place car photos on his web site. I had told him that for his purposes, these new sub £100 units would suffice, but if he bought a semi-decent one, he could make better use of it. It took quite a while to find out detailed information about cameras in his price range, but in the end, there seemed to be only one choice. The package, to me, is a very important part of the purchase. The Kodak comes with a charger, 4 rechargeable batteries, and 4 duracell ones. Leads for USB, Serial and TV connection, and plenty of software. An excellent deal. And all for £275. The ... Read the complete review
